The Story Behind Crux
Crux Design has outlived every shift the industry threw at it, the move from studios to remote work, the streaming upheaval, the arrival of AI. It survived by evolving. What began as a Soho motion-design shop is now a boutique design studio helping Southwest Florida small businesses grow through branding, motion design, and web design.
Born in Soho
Crux Design was founded by Uros Perisic in the heart of Soho, a neighborhood where art, design, and technology collide in every corner. What started as a motion design shop grew into a 3D motion design studio, working on projects for anyone from Fortune 5 companies to indie films, movie trailers, and TV network promos.
As the industry went remote, Uros closed the physical studio in DUMBO in 2017 and went virtual, opening the door to working with the best talent anywhere. That same year took him to California twice, joining the Apple team on the ground for the WWDC keynote and the unveiling of the iPhone X.
Through Enterprise AI
The next chapter ran through enterprise AI. Uros joined DataRobot as Creative Director, and in 2022 co-founded Deep Vibe, an online-first AI creative agency spun out of DataRobot, where he still serves as Partner and Creative Director. Three years of building AI-native creative for larger clients is what makes Crux Design's AI offering practical rather than theoretical: Uros has seen what works at scale, and brings only what earns its keep to a small-business budget.

Before turning to Southwest Florida small businesses, Crux delivered creative work at the highest level. Over more than two decades in New York City, we produced motion design, video content, and brand experiences for Apple, National Geographic, Fidelity Investments, and TD Ameritrade, earning a 100% client satisfaction rate across every engagement.
