About This Project

A modern, mission-driven website for a Fort Myers youth sailing organization serving ages 5–18 and adult learners on the Caloosahatchee River. I designed the site to make its programs, values, events, and registration opportunities easy to explore while communicating the confidence-building impact of sailing education. I provide ongoing website maintenance and content development, including new page creation, program and event updates, messaging refinements, and structural improvements aligned with evolving organizational and client goals.

Beyond the website, I design the center's social media: event announcements, program spotlights, and regatta coverage that keep the sailing community engaged and bring visitors back to the site.

Highlights

  • Dual conversion paths (enrollment + donations)
  • Embedded video + parent testimonials
  • Regatta event registration
  • Stripe payment integration for donation processing
  • Ongoing site maintenance & content development
  • Social media activation for events & campaigns

The Challenge

The center's existing website had grown deep and complex. Programs, registration, events, and donation paths were buried several layers down, and visitors had to dig to find any of it.

Bringing everything to the surface level became the constant goal of the redesign: no piece of content sits deeper than two clicks from the home page. Every decision I made in the structure, the navigation, and the page hierarchy was measured against that rule, so the site leads with what families actually come for.

Social Media Activation

The website tells the story; social media keeps it in the feed. Beyond the site, I design Edison Sailing Center's social content: event announcements, program spotlights, and regatta coverage built on real photography and matched to the center's brand. First up: the welcome campaign for River Romp 2026, the USA Junior Olympic Sailing Festival regatta hosted on the Caloosahatchee.
